Disclaimer
By an Agreement made between VF Worldwide Holdings Limited ("VF") and
Gerry's International Express Private Limited ("Gerry"), Gerry is responsible
for accepting visa applications from applicants in Pakistan wishing to
travel to the UK. The applications include the applicant's passport, completed
visa form, supporting documentation and the Biometrics data (finger prints).
Gerry's is responsible for facilitating submission of the application
to the British High Commission on behalf of the applicant, collecting
the passport and supporting documents back from the British High Commission
and returning the passport to the applicant by hand delivery against a
receipt by the applicant OR in the manner opted for by the applicant in
the visa application form. Sometimes applicants' passports and supporting
documents may be returned to them directly by British High Commission
staff following an interview.
Applicants must note that decisions on visa applications are at all times
taken by Visa Officers at the British High Commission, who may require
additional documentation to enable them to reach a decision. There is
no involvement in the decision-making process and no influence at all
on the outcome of an application.
Note: There are circumstances where the British High Commission may hand
over the passport & the supporting documents to the applicants directly.
Subject only to the reimbursement of fees as set out in the paragraph
below, Gerry's accepts no liability to an applicant for any damage, loss,
cost or expense whatsoever or howsoever caused or incurred by an applicant
as a result of the processing by Gerry of an application to the British
High Commission, including (but not limited to) any loss caused by any
delay in processing an application or the rejection of the visa application
by the British High Commission. Whilst every precaution is taken while
handling the passport of applicants and important documents submitted
in support thereof, due to unforeseen events and circumstances, the passport
and documents may be lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities
(act of god) or any other reason, there shall be no liability or responsibility
in any manner towards the applicant for the same.
In the event that a passport is lost or damaged in transit, the liability
of Gerry shall be limited to the reimbursement to the applicant of any
fees charged by the relevant passport authority in the applicant's country
of residence for the replacement of the lost and/or damaged passport through
the normal application procedure. There shall be no responsibility or
liablity for any consequential loss or damage caused to the applicant
due to loss of his/her passport and supporting documents.
Applicants are requested to read and understand these terms of business
prior to the submission of an application and upon submission of an application
(either by the applicant or by applicant representative) the applicant
will be deemed to have read and understood theterms, conditions and details
here in.
Bank issued cheques are subject to realisation.
Advertising material may be sent along with the passport and supporting
documents back to the applicant. If the applicant does not wish to receive
any advertising material along with the passport and supporting documents,
the applicant must advise in advance. Please note that any advertising
material sent back with the passport and supporting documents does not
have the endorsement of the UK Government.
Any claims, disputes of whatsoever nature arising herefrom, shall be governed
by the laws of United kingdom and competent courts in London shall alone
have jurisdiction.
