Processing Times for all applications

The British High Commission aims to process all non-settlement applications within 15 working days and all settlement applications within 12 weeks.

Some applications may require additional processing time if further enquiries need to be made, for example if there is a need to refer to the Home Office in the UK. In all such cases applicants will be advised that their application falls into this category.

Applicants are therefore advised to submit their visa applications in good time but no more than 3 months in advance of their intended date of travel.
