SMS Service

Gerry's International is pleased to be able to offer an SMS service which updates customers in Pakistan on the progress of their UK visa applications. The easy to use SMS service sends an automated message to the applicant's mobile phone at various stages of the visa application process. This is followed up with an automated email message to the applicant's email informing them of the status of their visa application. The SMS text is available in English and Urdu.

This optional service can be purchased for PKR 200 when you submit your visa application. You can download the form at home and fill it in before arriving at the visa application centre. Please read the disclaimer carefully before applying for this service.

Premium lounge service

Gerry’s offer premium lounge service at the visa application centres in Islamabad, Lahore, Mirpur and Karachi. This includes:

		A meet and assist service at the reception of the visa application centre.
		A stylish dedicated lounge for UK visa applicants who choose the new personalized service for the submission of their visa applications and passports for processing.
		Luxurious seating, quieter environment and high class decor of the lounge.
		Fast, convenient, and comfortable visa application submission.
		Free SMS alert on the status of your application.
		Complimentary snacks, tea and coffee.
		Newspaper, magazines and international TV channels.
	Important: This service does not imply or guarantee in any way that applicants using the premium service will have their applications processed faster, or that their visas will be issued. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules.

Booking Procedure

You can choose any of the following options:

		To call our dedicated call centre on PTCL landline: 090010411 or Mobile: 8865 and from UK 0871-7043005 for booking your submission appointment date and for the premium lounge facility.
		You can also use the premium facility when you arrive at the UK visa application centre, by making a booking at the reception.

What does it cost?

The Premium Lounge Service charges are Rs 3,000 for each applicant in addition to the visa application fee.
Prime Time Service

Gerry’s offer a Prime Time Service in the visa application centres in Karachi and Lahore. Using this facility allows you to submit your UK visa application outside the normal opening hours, between 1700 – 1900hrs. You will need to make an appointment in advance.

What does it cost?

The cost of Prime Time is 2500 PKR (including taxes), in addition to the visa application fee.

Important note: Use of the Prime Time Service does not affect the processing time of your application.
Priority Visa Service

If you meet the criteria below, you can use our Priority Visa Service. This means that your application will be processed ahead of all others; it does not guarantee that your visa will be issued. We aim to process Priority Visa applications within 5 working days.

The fee for the service is PKR 8,760(inclusive of taxes) in addition to the visa application fee. We will not refund either the visa application fee or the Priority Visa fee if your application is refused or takes longer than 5 working days to process.

To be eligible for the priority visa service, you must:

		be applying for a UK visit visa; and
		not have an adverse immigration history - see below; and
		apply online as normal, and when prompted, select priority Visas from the dropdown menu. You will be asked to pay for the served when you arrive at the visa application centre;

If you have an adverse immigration history, then we will not treat your application as a priority visa. We will still process it within our service standards for processing UK visa applications.

Examples of an adverse immigration history are if you have:

		previously been refused a visa for the UK;
		previously been refused permission to enter the UK;
		previously been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK;
		overstayed a period of leave in the UK
		been refused permission to stay (known as 'leave to remain') in the UK by the Home Office;
		been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA or the Schengen countries; and/or
		been convicted of a criminal offence in any country.
